'Venus De Milo' is my favourite track from Miles Davis's 1957 compilation Birth of Cool, a post bebop 'cool jazz' classic.
This mix also contains 'Green Chimneys' another classic jazz tune composed by my favourite jazz pianist, Thelonious Sphere Monk. This version is by Whycliffe Gordon, an American jazz trombonist. Here is a fantastic vocal rendition of this tune:
